Ensuring Security and Improving Entrenchment and Literacy on a Scale of Tens of Thousands of Employees

A major automotive and manufacturing company with a large workforce was advancing company-wide DX initiatives. As part of these efforts, the company began exploring the introduction of generative AI, with a strong need to establish a secure environment in which employees could use the technology with confidence.
Looking beyond implementation, key challenges included how to expand adoption across departments, improve employee literacy, and ensure that generative AI usage would take hold throughout the organization.
SOLUTION

Setup of Secure Environment and Formation of Community Promoting Self-Help and Mutual Support

As part of a broader DX initiative, we supported the company-wide rollout of generative AI. First, we built a dedicated internal generative AI environment. From a security standpoint, the solution was designed to meet the high standards required of global enterprises, incorporating measures such as a web application firewall (WAF) to prevent unauthorized access and robust access log management.
Following deployment, we rolled out e-learning programs to tens of thousands of employees and conducted prompt training workshops for selected participants. Highly versatile prompt templates were developed and made available for company-wide use. In addition, we launched a generative AI ambassador program and an internal user community that attracted broad employee participation. By encouraging bottom-up knowledge sharing and peer support, we helped foster a sustainable culture of generative AI adoption across the organization.
RESULT

Achievement of High Utilization Rate and Establishment of Self-Sustaining Utilization Culture

Within just a few months of launch, the dedicated internal generative AI environment delivered results that exceeded expectations, with a large proportion of target users actively engaging with the platform. The introduction of standardized prompt templates enabled employees to confidently apply generative AI in their daily work, delivering tangible benefits across a wide range of activities, including translation, document creation, and idea generation.
In addition, the activation of the user community led to the continuous sharing of frontline-driven use cases, establishing a self-sustaining model for adoption. Looking ahead, the company plans to further enhance the platform through initiatives such as integrating internal data using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and expanding prompt template functionality.
